Earl and Elaine Anders have been volunteering at Victory since 2007 and for shorter periods before. They are originally from Pennsylvania and still spend time there during the winter visiting friends and family. Having been married for over 55 years, they have 3 sons who are married, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson.
Earl is a part of the maintenance team and Elaine works both with Donor Relations and registration for our summer camps. What they love most about their ministry is that, even in their retirement years, they can still use their gifts to help reach people and share the gospel. They also appreciate the influence that Victory has on the lives of young people both in the summer program, as well as the Outpost Ministry.
Their favorite verse is Joshua 24:15:
“But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
