Camp Director’s Letter to: Parents of Campers

Victory Bible Camp is committed to moving forward with its 2020 Summer Camp Program. We’re ready to go, families want to see us open and so do we. Currently we are planning a six-week summer camp for ages 7-17 years old. The weeks will include three elementary; one Jr High and one High School. We will also be running, for the first time, a one-week Advanced Horse Ranch Camp during week six.

We can assure you we are not taking opening up lightly. We have been planning and re-planning all the different precautionary protocols that have come to us in parts and pieces from governmental agencies of Alaska, the CDC with the help of the American Camping Association (ACA) and the YMCA for how to operate a safe summer overnight camp and applying them to our summer camp.
We want families to know that we will ensure that all the necessary protocols will be in line with CDC guidelines for the safety of our campers and staff. We also have been planning a great and exciting program for our campers living up to the level of Victory Bible Summer Camp of the past… just looking a little different. The VBC Program Team has been planning Summer Camp 2020 for six months, as well as over the last two months brainstorming many new ideas and new activities in order to adjust to a different type of program as needed.

Victory Bible Camp is Committed to …

Following the State Protocols
Screening for Safety
Training Our Staff
Practicing Good Hygiene
Keeping It Clean
Extra Measures Food Service
Creating Fun and Memories
Campers Seeing Jesus

You may read all of our VBC precautionary protocols at here
We really believe at this point in time, given the spring that we’ve had and most importantly that the children have had. camp will be more important than ever this summer.

Thank you for your support,
Bob Lindsay
