Jesse Cripps

Jesse has dedicated over 55 years to ministry, beginning as a Sunday School teacher in Louisiana at the young age of 15. His passion for service led him through various roles, including evangelism, pastoral work, missions, and church founding, all while pursuing a career and raising a family in California.

In 2023, driven by unwavering faith in God’s calling, Jesse felt a divine pull towards Alaska. He arrived at Victory Bible Camp (VBC) in May, tirelessly working through August. Although he returned to Texas afterward, he firmly believed his mission in Alaska was far from over. Guided by his faith, Jesse made the unquestionable decision to move to Alaska and join the full-time staff at VBC.

At VBC, Jesse provides essential logistical support for the camp’s construction and maintenance projects, leveraging his extensive 30-year career experience as a General Contractor in California. In addition to his work in construction and maintenance, Jesse also leads the newest arm of our ministry: grant writing and development.

Jesse’s favorite quote is: “God’s work done in God’s time frame will never lack God’s finances.”

Don’t be surprised if you receive a communication from Jesse asking you to support the ministry at VBC – he’s simply doing his job with dedication and faith!
