Alan and Adele come to Victory Bible Camp with deep roots. Alan’s family moved to Victory in 1971. Adele’s grandparents were founding members of Victory Bible Camp in 1947! Alan spent most of his childhood and high school years, hiking, skiing, snowmaching and working around the Victory area. Adele came to VBC as an 8 year old camper. She spent her teen summers on Work Crew (aka S.A.L.T.) and later volunteered as a counselor at Alpine Camp. Both Alan and Adele’s parents were missionaries with InterAct for over 50 years.
Alan attended Biola University and UAA. He recently retired from the Mat-Su School District after 31 years of service as a Boiler Mechanic and Maintenance Supervisor. Adele went to Multnomah University and is a singer/songwriter, recording artist and conference speaker. She spent many years as a children’s director at Wasilla Bible Church. Adele also coached volleyball and was a substitute teacher for the Matanuska School District.
Alan is currently head of maintenance at VBC. Adele is working as Victory Ministries Admin Assistant; helping with marketing, PR and HR.
Coming back to Victory Bible camp is literally full circle for both of them. They are excited to see how God will use them in this chapter of their lives.
Matthew 6:19-21 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth…For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
