Peter Thiessen

Peter grew up on a farm in Kansas in a Christian home with five siblings. Farm life taught him hard work and responsibility, while his dad’s example showed him the importance of keeping Christ at the center of his life.

Peter first heard about Victory through his brother and made his first trip to Alaska in 2022. Although stepping outside his comfort zone was challenging, he felt the Lord leading him to return. This time around, he learned to walk by faith rather than his own will, he began to see the joy of following God wherever He leads.

Now, Peter is excited to serve as Outpost RA and Barn Manager. With his farm background and a desire to grow in leadership, he’s ready to work hard, serve others, and see what God has in store.
