This 3 day camp is the perfect option for a camper who wants to experience Venture but isn’t ready for a full week of camp!
Activities will vary depending on the weather but can include: day hikes, canoeing, firebuilding, cooking and developing wilderness skills. Campers will spend each night at Venture Hill (on VBC Campus) and will eat delicious meals around the fire. Campers will learn more about God and His creation as they spend 3 days fully surrounded by nature. These 3 days will be packed full of games, activities, skills, chapels, and making new friends. If your camper is hesitant to come alone, register them along with a brother, sister, or with their BFF!

Venture 101 Ages 7-10, Week 4
Throughout this week campers will have the opportunity to delve into learning wilderness skills and putting them into practice. Activities will vary depending on the weather and the campers interests. These can include: hiking, canoeing, camping, cooking, firebuilding, navigation skills and survival training. Nights will be split between Venture Hill (on VBC Campus) and camping out. All equipment will be provided, no previous experience needed. Join us and venture out of the normal routine of life… make new friends, cook over the campfire, learn more about God and experience His beautiful creation.

Outdoor Skills Ages 8-13, Week 1, 2, 5, 6
During this week, campers will enjoy developing their outdoor skills and spending time in God’s beautiful creation. In addition to camping and outdoor-skill training, campers will spend a day White Water Rafting on the Matanuska River. Skills and activities will vary depending on weather and campers’ interests. These can include: hiking, canoeing, camping, fire building, and outdoor cooking. Join us and venture out of the normal routine of life… make new friends, cook over the campfire, learn more about God and experience Him.
All equipment will be provided, no previous experience needed.
RAFTING: Experience the thrill of white water rafting on the Matanuska River. Surrounded by the incredible beauty of Alaska, the Lions Head rafting trip is an unforgettable adventure.
Rafting will be led by NOVA Alaska Guides. Camper parents/guardians will be required to fill out a NOVA waiver in order for campers to participate in rafting. There are also additional items campers will need to bring for this trip. You can find a list of those items in the packing list.

Teen Whitewater Rafting Ages 13-17, Week 3

During this week, campers will enjoy developing their outdoor skills and spending time in God’s beautiful creation. In addition to camping and outdoor-skill training, campers will spend a day exploring the majestic Matanuska Glacier. Skills and activities will vary depending on weather and campers’ interests. These can include: hiking, canoeing, camping, fire building, and outdoor cooking. Join us and venture out of the normal routine of life… make new friends, cook over the campfire, learn more about God and experience Him.
All equipment will be provided, no previous experience needed.
THE GLACIER: The beauty and grandeur of the Matanuska Glacier is breathtaking. Campers will venture onto the glacier, receive instruction on glacial travel, basic techniques and equipment, and discover what a mulan is. This trip will give campers a better understanding of the uniqueness of Alaska and the intricate creativity of God. No previous experience required. While all required equipment will be provided, please note the additional items for campers to bring on the packing list.

Medications
Prescription Medications: If your camper needs to take medications at camp you must turn them in when you register to the camp nurse. All over-the-counter and non-prescription drugs remain in the ORIGINAL CONTAINER. All prescription medications must be in a PHARMACY LABELED container with the campers name on it. Loose pills will not be accepted.
Over-the-counter Medications: Victory Bible Camps offers the following non-prescription medications on an as-needed basis. By law we must use our own supply. Please notify us of any medications you DO NOT want given to your child.
Acetaminophen (Tylenol), Aloe, Antibiotic Ointment (Bacitracin/Neosporin), Bismuth Subsalicylate (Pepto-Bismol), Calamine Lotion, Cough Drop, Diphenhydramine (Benadryl), Fexofenadine (Allegra), Hydrocortisone 1% (Cortisone), Ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin), Lice Shampoo (Nix/Rid), Loratadine (Claritin), Phenylephrine (Sudafed PE), Polyethylene Glycol (Miralax), Pseudoephedrine (Sudafed).
